(As Told by Rakheriel Herself)
Well, I ventured forth into the Butcher Block Mountains in search of Gobbos with goodies only to meet with disaster. Listen now to my tale of woes.
First, immediately on exiting the mountain pass from Feydark to the Dwarf lands, I was set upon by a very large Ogre Shaman (I believe her name was Zoomchi) who proceeded to chase me all the way to the guard posts at the cross roads. She cast spells on me and hit me upon occasion but my high wisdom helped ward off her evil magics. Just as I got to the guard zone I tried to attack the Ogre to assist the guards in its destruction, but in my haste, I nicked one of the guards in passing. The bastard then turned on me and cut me down as if *I* were the problem and not the ogre.
My stature reduced by the experience, I made the run to the Dwarflands after my soul returned to Faydark.
After regaining my equipment and rememorizing some key spells I set off to find goblins. I ended up at the Gobbo camp near the gates to Kaladim where I at once (and perhaps foolishly) leaped to attack a Goblin. Of course there was a Goblin shaman hiding in the tent and he proceeded to launched a cascade of magiks against me. I ran for the Dwarf guards but died within a few feet of their guard post. (The guards were obviously holding a grudge against me for my supposed past offenses...)
Setting out again for my body I reflected on how much nicer the Feydark forest was, how pleasant it was to kill Orc Centurions and the occasional Orc Shaman. Yet, once I arrived back at my body, recovered my stuff, and rememorized my spells, I stayed in the Butcherbloks and set off again in search of something to kill.
As I was hunting about, I saw a Dwarf running along. I hailed the dwarf and after recieving no response, I hailed him again. Without a word, the vicious pest whipped about and assaulted me. This was enough for me. I successfully cast the Gate spell (aided by some lucky misses from this not very deadly enemy) and breathed a sigh of relief as I reappeared back in my forest home.
I happily return now to the orcs of Crushbone.
